Dropbox seems to be re-downloading all my files every time I restart my computer. I installed Dropbox on a Win 10 laptop. The system downloaded all my files and installed them in a Dropbox folder on my laptop as I wanted. But everytime I shutdown my laptop and restart it, Dropbox starts downloading all my files again, over files. I too think it is an intrusive assumption to automatically sync folders that the user has not consciously put into dropbox (in this case Windows 10 "This PC" "Documents". I found out by serendipity that some sensitive files had been copied to dropbox, removing or deleting the folder "My PC (LAPTOP)" causes it to be deleted from "This PC.
